The Sermon candle holder takes its name, because of its strict form in combination with the material, that reminds a ritual artifact.
It is inspired by the Brutalist architectural movement which emerged in the 1950’s and it’s known for the raw simple forms, exposed materials and structural elements of the buildings.
The candleholder consists of three identical parts of welded brass tubes which are connected at their base with a 4th part. The design is developed that way, in order to simplify the manufacturing process and logistics. The final product will be transported and stored at the selling points disassembled in flat packs and the customers can assemble them very easy, by using three screws.
The team consisting of designers and experienced Bartenders, combined many years of work experience behind the bars with design in order to create a bar tool brand for professionals.
The line consists of three products, a Stirrer, a Strainer and a Mixing Glass Strainer. All three tools were designed in order to accomplish effectively each task they are made for and tested them, focusing on the user’s comfort during the exhausting work hours.
The eye-catching design approach with both colours, match various bartender styles and highlight the theatrical process of a bartender creating a cocktail. Made of high-grade Stainless Steel, the silver line is Highly polished 316 Stainless Steel and the black is coated with state of the art coating technology, to withstand the severe everyday use.

Go key is created as a simple user friendly and beautiful device that practically solves problems coming of the everyday use of technology. During the product development we focused on the problems that occur to smartphone users and approached them with a human centered methodology. Our goal is to create a simple and beautiful device that makes our life easier in complex modern lifestyle.
Go key is designed to be a multifunctional device that you carry on you always with your keys. First and foremost it serves the need of extra power when your phone drains out of battery when you need it. It can be used as a USB charging and synching cable, connects with the phone through Bluetooth and GPS and helps you find your misplaced keys or phone.
The design mimics the shape of the keys in an abstract way, keeps a small size and through the carefully chosen materials and finish creates a pleasant feeling to the user. It’s ergonomically designed to provide a seamless experience to the user, considering human factors and behavior.
Premium Packaging for Eteo Olive Oil
Inspiration for creating the brand identity, has its origins in one of the most genuine eras of antiquity. Homer, “The greatest poet of them all” ushered-in the word “eteos” (Greek ἐτεός) to describe the native, true, genuine inhabitants of the island of Crete, the Genuine Cretans: The Eteocretans.The name Eteo is a way to show the origins of the Olives, grown in the region of Eastern Crete where the Eteocretans lived 2,500 years ago and collected Olives to produce the precious Olive Oil.
The brief was to create a Unique packaging, made of ceramic, for an Extra Premium Product, that will stand out on the shelf and reflect the high value of its content.
Considering the brand’s tagline, “Drops Of Blessing”, the design of the bottle resembles the organic shape of a drop. The use of two genuine elements — porcelain and olive tree wood — borrowed from Mother Earth and brought into harmony with one another, are creating the ‘perfect drop’ shape of our bottle.
The packaging materials are chosen for their practical and symbolic characteristics.Ceramic offers the best protection from direct light, air and everything that harms Olive Oil quality and has been used since ancient times to store Olive oil the proper way. The cap is made of Olive tree wood, an underutilized, but so interesting material, with complex grain structures of colors ranging from cream through pink to black.
The combination of those two materials makes a playful contradiction between the shiny white ceramic bottle and the wooden cap, resembling the eternal blend of the earth and the trees that provide the valuable olives.

The Pebble Pot Family is a line of ceramic artifacts, designed to meet the requirements of both indoor and outdoor pots. Ideal objects for plant lovers who are looking for decorative items for their space and practical pots for small plants.
This project is inspired by the pebbles found on the beaches of Greece and began when through observing people I realized the positive effect that pebbles have on them, in a subconscious way.
Because of their organic forms, sculptural qualities and their smooth porous surface, pebbles are things people usually like to touch, hold in their hands and many times carry them home, as specialsouvenirs that remind them of a vacation or a trip in nature.
Pebble pots aspire in a way to carry indoors the organic sense and tactility of the pebbles and recreate the same positive feelings awaken by the magical simplicity of their forms. Goal of this project is to bring this pleasant feeling into peoples houses and at the same time to create useful and aesthetically pleasant objects for the household or garden.
The characteristic surface and form of pebbles in nature is the result of an everlasting process of polishing through the friction with water and other rocks. The structure and design of the Pebble Pots presented here, intend to reproduce the sense of the harmonic co-existing of the natural pebbles and the microorganisms that grow on them, while sculpting their surfaces.
Every pot is composed of two parts: the lower part forms a space which receives the soil and the plants. The top parts have holes for the plants to fit in and they also form a lid, which can be removed by the user in order to check the internal space and soil.
The material they are made of is a special Ceramic Stoneware, that contains a rough Chamotte, since the goal was to resemble the porous texture of the pebbles found in nature as much as possible.

Caring for in house plants brings people closer to nature. This contemporary ritual provides a feeling of wellbeing, by offering moments of relaxation amidst the fast paced rhythm of life in modern societies.
The Two Way Watering Pot is designed to serve both as a functional and decorative item for the household. Because of the two spouts that produce different water streams, it provides two alternative choices in watering plants by hand. One works as a “sprinkler” and is ideal when the user wants to avoid excessive water pressure, on the soil or on delicate plants, with breaking up the stream of water into droplets. A narrower spout on the opposite of the “sprinkler” gives the option for a more efficient watering at the root zone. Users don’t need to empty the extra water and hide it somewhere out of sight, since it can also be used as a vase for flowers.
The ergonomic design in combination with its unique form makes it a multifunctional and aesthetically pleasing object for home gardening.
Strongly influenced by the ancient Greek sculptures of the classic period, the design is inspired by the smoothness and simplicity of the forms encountered on sculptures and torsos carved on marble in the classical antiquity.

Mini menu degustation plate for The Holy Goat Bistro
The plate is made of stoneware and it is designed in collaboration with the Chef and the Bartender of the Holy Goat Bistro. Its forms aspire to create a gastronomical ritual involving all human senses and to guide the costumer with small shots of cocktails, their garnish and tapas through an experience full of tastes, smells and colors.
The team has worked with ingenuity on the design of a plate attempting to give the customer visual cues on how this dish should be consumed. There are specific positions for the stainless steel arcs and their garnishes that “hoover” over the cocktail shots. Εvery shot has its tapas and the back of the plate is risen to make its content accessible.
Bluetooth Headset Concept Design
My objective when designing the Bluetooth was to create a product of great value and durability after long-term daily use. Its relief surface is inspired by the structure of mineral pyrite. The choice of the name and logo of the product is also inspired by that mineral.
Interactive lighting system for household use / Concept Design
As a form of energy, light affects the functioning of the body, psychologically & physiogically as well.
This system adjusts dynamically lighting according to the habits of the house residents, combining data from their habits with the time of the day and outdoor lighting conditions. It includes the central “smart” unit which communicates wirelessly with individual light sources, its wall charging dock and the light and motion sensors that are placed in different areas of the house.
The Smart Unit Device uses an Amoled touchscreen that bends over the corner of its form. The bend of its form is ergonomically designed to make the device better accessible when it’s on the wall charging dock. The charging dock is an OLED surface that changes color temperature depending the lighting condition of the system.
Lumicon is designed to be functional, almost invisible and non-obtrusive, take into consideration the user’s comfort and made them calm and feel well.
This is an self-initiated project under the supervision of Alexandros Didaskalou (Industrial Designer CEO of Designlab) & has been exhibited at the Italian Institute and the Greek Industrial Property Organization “Greek Design Is Good design” in 2013.
Autonomous Solar Powered Public Lighting System / Concept Design
The lighting of public spaces in urban areas is essential during the night. Because of this the amount of electrical energy spent to light the streets of major cities is enormous. The use of renewable energy sources in this sector would significantly help to save energy. Based on the above thought my proposal concerns the design of an energy autonomous lighting system for sidewalks and walkways.
The use of leafs as a conceptual and morphological basis is dominant when designing said lighting system. The above design decision is based on the belief that the observation of nature as well as its exemplification and imitation holds a primary role in terms of designing, especially in the sector of natural resources management.
Tree leaves, for example, collect solar energy during the daytime which is used for their maintenance and growth during the night. In the “Leaf” I tried to apply the above natural process.
I chose an organic form resembling a tree branch with a leaf on its edge, where the photovoltaic panels are placed. The lower side of the same part of this lighting system serves as a reflector of the light which is produced by the light source.
Specifically the lighting system collects energy from the sunlight during the day, which is thereafter stored in the batteries placed in the ground and it is used when it gets dark, when the lighting system is activated through a sensor that detects the luminosity of the environment.
